SwimTopia

What it does:
- Manages team information, meet setup, and swimmer entries
- Coaches create meets, manage entries, and finalize lineups before each meet
- Includes SwimTopia mobile app:
- Free version: for meet info, event/heat tracking, and post‑meet results
- Paid version: adds live results and swimmer‑specific heat/lane info with real‑time updates

- Cloud-based through a web browser

Log-in:
- Users log in with their registered email + password (parents, coaches, admins).
- The SwimTopia mobile app uses the same login.

What it does:

Meet Maestro

What it does:
- Runs the meet once team entries are merged
- Manages heat sheets, scratches, relays, entry changes, results entry, scoring, and reporting
- Sends live updates to the SwimTopia app and returns final results to SwimTopia

How it runs:
- In advance: Cloud-based through a web browser
- Meet day: Windows laptop running Meet Maestro software and Time Drops MM‑Link app

- Uses your same SwimTopia login — no separate account.
- Access depends on your SwimTopia permissions/role.

- Connects Meet Maestro and the TimeDrops timing system for two‑way exchange of meet data and race results during the meet

How it runs:
- Operates on a closed on‑deck Wi‑Fi network created by the dual-band router, which also connects to the internet to enable live results and real-time updates in the SwimTopia app

- Captures race times from each lane during the meet
- Sends results into Meet Maestro

- Uses Android tablet running the Time Drops app, a timing controller, and lane timing buttons
- Operates on a closed on‑deck Wi‑Fi network
